Common questions
Which Linux build do I need?
+
Use a `.deb` if you're on Debian, Ubuntu, Pop!_OS, Linux Mint, or any Debian-based distribution. Use an `.rpm` for Fedora, RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, or AlmaLinux. Pick `x86_64` (also called amd64) for standard Intel/AMD machines, or ARM64 (aarch64) for ARM-based hardware like a Raspberry Pi 4/5, ARM laptops, or ARM cloud VMs. If you're not sure, run `uname -m` in a terminal — `x86_64` means x64; `aarch64` or `arm64` means ARM64.
What are the system requirements?
+
Windows: Windows 10 (64-bit) or later, 4 GB RAM, 500 MB free disk space. macOS: macOS 12 Monterey or later, 4 GB RAM, 500 MB free disk space. Linux: any modern distribution from the last 3 years on the matching architecture, 4 GB RAM, 500 MB free disk space. The desktop app uses your default system browser for any external links.
What if my download fails or stalls?
+
First, refresh the page and try the download again — large files occasionally drop on flaky connections. If it keeps failing, try a different browser or temporarily pause your VPN or download manager. Files are served over HTTPS from a CDN, so corporate firewalls usually pass them, but some strict environments block large `.exe`, `.dmg`, `.deb`, or `.rpm` files outright. If that's you, ask your IT team to allow this domain.
Do I need an account before I install?
+
No, you can install the app first. You'll sign in with your TraxionLab account when you launch it. If you don't have an account yet, you can start a 30-day free trial right from the app — no credit card required.
How do I update the app later?
+
The desktop app checks for updates automatically when it starts. If you ever need to reinstall manually, just come back to this page and grab the latest installer for your platform.
Where do I get support?
+
